Dear friends,

We're delighted to be publishing a themeless that's on the lighter side of difficulty, with some thoughtful grid art by Catherine Cetta. We think you'll find it moderately challenging!

Catherine worked in oceanographic research and K-12 education and is now happily retired. From a family of women solvers, she credits her mother with engendering her love of words and crosswords. She began constructing during the pandemic stay-at-home period and was immediately hooked. Her other interests include outdoor sports, painting, vegetable gardening, and tennis. Catherine lives on Cape Cod with her long-time partner, Julie, and their cat, Dolly.
