Originally from rural North Carolina, Max is a paralegal and crossword constructor now based in Washington, D.C. When not constructing, Max plays in LGBTQ+ kickball and volleyball leagues and drinks lattes. Their work has also appeared in the Universal Crossword, the Los Angeles Times, and Max's
puzzle blog.
