Puzzle NotesDear friends,
Ever want to just tear it all down? Kate Hawkins is here to help. Her puzzle, "Rearrangements," offers some suggestions for reordering a few things that we never liked much in the first place. We think you'll find it moderately challenging!
Kate started constructing crossword puzzles seriously at the end of 2019. Her puzzles have run in USA Today, Universal Crosswords, and the AV Club, and she's thrilled to be working with The Inkubator, a publication whose very existence inspired the theme of this puzzle. By day, Kate is a product manager at KQED public media, where she builds digital products to support the future of independent, local journalism. She lives in Oakland, California with her wife, cats, and chickens. You can follow her (and her puzzles) on Twitter at @kateshawkins.
When you're done solving, check out Diary of a Crossword Fiend for a write-up and discussion, every Friday after an Inkubator puzzle is published. For general updates, follow us on twitter at @InkubatorXWords, and visit our website. Thanks to all of our subscribers for your continuing support, feedback, and kindness!
