Puzzle Notes

Dear friends,

Happy Pride Month! We hope everyone is celebrating to the fullest this year. We're kicking off the celebration with "Pride and Joy" by the brilliant Claire Rimkus. We think you'll find it moderately challenging!

Claire Rimkus started constructing puzzles in 2019 and has had crosswords published in several venues, including Queer Qrosswords, USA Today, Boswords, and The New York Times. Claire recently launched Just Gridding! with Rachel Fabi, where they will post indie crossword puzzles as well as "just grids" that solvers can submit clues for. Visit the blog or join the Google group for more info.

When you're done solving, check out Diary of a Crossword Fiend for a write-up and discussion, every Friday after an Inkubator puzzle is published. For general updates, follow us on Twitter at @InkubatorXWords, and visit our website. Thanks to all of our subscribers for your continuing support, feedback, and kindness!

Coming up next, on June 10: a groundbreaking puzzle from Lisa Grossman and Ada Lerner.

All best,
Laura, Tracy, Juliana, and Stella
